The visitor, a 38-year-old female. She had tinnitus for more than six months and could not sleep, along with symptoms of anxiety, fear, irritability, and easy anger. She continued to ask questions and learned that she had a family history of tinnitus, and that previous generations of her family as well as her mother’s siblings had tinnitus symptoms. The visitor’s high dose of Valium and anti-anxiety medication did not work well and the tinnitus condition persisted. Repeated changes in medication each of which is ineffective after a period of time, and currently still uses high doses of sedative and anti-anxiety medication. The tinnitus was examined without any organic pathology, and the family members were asked about the tinnitus at the time because there were emotions and reasons that caused the anxiety, and the condition arose because there was anxiety in their lives at the time. Since the visitor had no organic lesions, and there was a family history of tinnitus expressing anxiety in previous generations, the first visit to the counseling session ended with a significant treatment. The first visit to do counseling ended with an obvious therapeutic effect, and because the effect of medication for anxiety was not satisfactory, it was suggested to stop slowly and use psychotherapy to relieve anxiety, and the tinnitus disappeared naturally when anxiety was relieved.
