What are the health care measures for uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are the most common type of benign tumor in women’s reproductive organs. Uterine fibroids mostly occur in women after 30 years of age, and the cause is not well understood. The incidence of fibroids accounts for about 20% of women of childbearing age. Most of them are small and have no special symptoms, but are occasionally detected during physical examination. If the fibroids are large, they can cause lower abdominal masses, excessive menstrual flow, and even pressure on the bladder and rectum, causing urinary difficulties or constipation. Health care measures: 1, small fibroids, asymptomatic or mild symptoms, can be suspended without surgery, every 3-6 months after the re-examination. For those who are nearing menopause, the fibroids will shrink naturally after menopause. 2.Cooperate with doctors for medication to reduce uterine bleeding. 3.People with one of the following conditions should be treated surgically regardless of their age (1) Large fibroids exceeding the size of a newborn’s head; (2) Difficulty in urination and defecation due to pressure symptoms; (3) Severe anemia due to excessive menstruation caused by submucosal fibroids; (4) Degeneration of fibroids (except for red degeneration of fibroids during pregnancy, which is mainly treated conservatively).
