  Hirsutiespapillarisgenitalis (pearly penile papules), also known as pearly penile papules, coronal or glans papules, is also referred to by some scholars as hairy penis or multipapillary penis. Pearly penile papules are most commonly seen in men around 20-30 years of age. Most scholars now believe that this is a normal physiological variation and is a benign condition that can subside after a certain amount of time in some people, and can last for decades without change in others. Because glans pearlis is not contagious, it does not cause health problems and is not transmitted through sexual intercourse.
