Effects of Yellow Essence

Huang Jing is a commonly used Chinese medicine in clinical practice for its effects of tonifying qi and nourishing yin, moisturizing the lungs, strengthening the spleen and benefiting the kidneys.
Huangjing is the dried rhizome of Dian huangjing, multiflora huangjing or huangjing of the lily family, which enters the spleen meridian, lung meridian and kidney meridian, and is sweet and flat in nature. It is considered by Chinese medicine practitioners to moisten the lungs, strengthen the spleen, benefit the kidneys, replenish qi and nourish yin, and can be used clinically to treat fatigue, weakness of the spleen and stomach, coughing in the lungs, lumbar and knee soreness, or premature whitening of the beard and hair, and so on.
It can be combined with other traditional Chinese medicines to treat diseases, and can also be used as a food, as an ingredient in cooking dishes, such as chicken stewed with yellow essence, yellow essence stewed with lean meat soup, etc., but it does not have the effect of treating diseases when it is used as a food.
Patients should consult with a medical professional according to their own condition and use it rationally when using Huang Jing to treat diseases.
