Green tumor is an extramedullary infiltrative manifestation of acute myeloid leukemia. In addition to the characteristics of acute myeloid leukemia, this tumor may also appear as a mass on the face, especially in the orbit. The treatment of green tumor basically follows the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, first of all, patients should be given induction remission treatment, commonly used programs such as DA program, IA program, MA program, etc. Through induction remission treatment, chemotherapy drugs are used to kill myeloid leukemia cells, and the green tumor will gradually become smaller. If complete remission is achieved after induction remission, maintenance therapy will follow. High-dose or medium-dose cytarabine is commonly used for maintenance therapy, which usually takes 3-4 courses, or normal-dose chemotherapy can be applied for 6-8 courses. For patients in the high-risk group, if there is a suitable bone marrow donor, it is best to do allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation treatment as soon as possible.
