Effects of Pericarpium Citriodora Job’s Tears Tea

Chenpi Job’s Tears Tea is a tea drink made of Chenpi and Job’s Tears, which has certain effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, stopping diarrhea, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness by drying dampness and resolving phlegm).
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae has the effects of regulating qi, strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm. It can be used to treat conditions such as stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach, dampness obstruction of distention and fullness of the epigastric region (stomach and abdomen swelling and plumpness), poor appetite, vomiting, wet phlegm and cold phlegm, as well as thoracic paralysis (tightness and pain in the chest).
Job’s tearing water and seeping dampness (promoting the flow of water to get rid of dampness), strengthening the spleen and stopping diarrhea, removing paralysis, draining pus, detoxifying and dispersing knots, can be used to treat oedema, athlete’s foot, dysuria, diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen, dampness and paralysis, carbuncle of the lungs and carbuncle of the bowels (carbuncle in the internal organs, manifested by fever, pain in the right side of the abdomen, and palpable lumps).
The above two herbs are used together to have certain effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, stopping diarrhea, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, removing paralysis and draining pus. However, the medicinal ingredients precipitated by the Chinese medicine tea drink are relatively small, so its efficacy and effect are limited and it cannot replace the medication to treat the disease.
If symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions, do not blindly use medication to avoid delaying the condition.
