Benefits and effects of immunoglobulin for kids

The efficacy and function of immunoglobulin for children include resisting infection of the body by external germs and other bacteria, treating immunoglobulin deficiency, and suppressing the body’s immune response, etc. The efficacy of different kinds of immunoglobulin is not quite the same.
1. Tetanus human immunoglobulin: mainly used for the prevention and treatment of tetanus, especially for those who have allergic reaction to tetanus antitoxin (TAT).
2. Hepatitis B Immune Globulin: It is mainly used for the prevention of hepatitis B. It is suitable for infants born to mothers with positive surface antigen of hepatitis B, accidentally infected people, and people who are in close contact with hepatitis B patients and hepatitis B virus carriers.
3. Human immunoglobulin: mainly used to prevent measles and infectious hepatitis. If used in combination with antibiotics, it can be more effective in improving the curative effect on the symptoms of certain bacterial or viral infections.
4. Intravenous human immunoglobulin: It is used for the treatment of primary immunoglobulin deficiency (such as X-linked hypoimmunoglobulinemia), secondary immunoglobulin deficiency (such as severe infections, neonatal sepsis, etc.), and autoimmune diseases (such as primary thrombocytopenic purpura, Kawasaki disease).
5. Anti-human T-cell rabbit immunoglobulin: It is used for the suppression of human immune response, often used in combination with other immunosuppressive drugs to suppress the immune system and prevent organ transplant rejection.
The use of drugs should be under the guidance of a doctor, do not blindly use their own medication, in order to avoid the risk of medication or adverse reactions.
