Sedimentary gallstones, i.e., sedimentary gallstones, can not be delayed for a lifetime without surgery if symptoms occur, if the patient does not have clinical symptoms, regular checkups are generally sufficient. Sedimentary gallstones belong to a kind of gallbladder stones, the stone component is mainly bilirubin, like a large sediment distributed in the entire biliary system, its symptoms are fever, chills, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and so on. If the patient shows obvious clinical symptoms, surgical treatment is usually required, such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy and open cholecystectomy. When sedimentary gallstones are asymptomatic, regular 6-month follow-up observation is needed. If asymptomatic patients have a large number of stones with a stone diameter ≥2~3cm; with gallbladder polyps ≥1cm; porcelain gallbladder or calcification of the gallbladder wall; gallbladder wall >3mm and with chronic cholecystitis, surgical treatment should be considered. Sedimentary gallstones patients should actively take the doctor’s advice, and reasonably choose the appropriate treatment for themselves, so as not to delay the condition.
