Most of the esophageal venous exposure is caused by portal hypertension, and its treatment is mainly aimed at the treatment of portal hypertension, and its treatment program is roughly divided into drug therapy and interventional therapy. 1. Pharmacological treatment: β-blockers represented by propranolol are usually chosen to prevent bleeding by reducing the blood flow in the vein. 2. Interventional therapy: When the patient only has simple esophageal vein exposure, generally no interventional therapy is needed; if the esophageal vein exposure is accompanied by severe varices or rupture of the vein, timely interventional therapy is usually needed, such as endoscopic variceal vein ligation, liver transplantation, and drug-endoscopy combination therapy. When symptoms of esophageal vein exposure occur, do not worry too much, and always seek medical treatment in time to find the cause of the disease and carry out targeted treatment; do not self-medicate to avoid delaying the condition or adverse reactions.
