Yang Ming meridian is divided into Yang Ming Large Intestine meridian and Foot Yang Ming Stomach meridian, both of which are channels of more qi and blood. The Hand Yang Ming Large Intestine meridian runs from the hand to the head, starting at the index finger of the hand along the outer side of the forearm towards the outer side of the upper arm, passing through the shoulder and neck and the cheek to reach the Ying Xiang point next to the nose. The meridians, one on each side, mainly treat diseases of the respiratory system, such as colds, fevers, coughs, headaches, etc., and head and facial disorders, such as facial paralysis, toothache, nasal congestion, etc. The foot Yangming Stomach meridian starts at Yingxiang, next to the nose, and runs from the head to the chest to the abdomen and then to the feet, joining the Hand Yangming Large Intestine meridian at the Yingxiang point, passing through the ear and eye of the face and then down the throat, from the chest to the abdomen and then from the outer thigh to the outer calf, finally reaching the Laitui point on the toes, also one on each side.
