Is hemorrhoid a pimple?

Hemorrhoids are certainly not pimples. Hemorrhoids occur in the anal area and are triggered by the patient’s recent poor diet and lifestyle preferences and can appear as a lump-like swelling outside the anus or a lump in the anus that feels like a soft mass when touched. When an acute attack occurs, the swelling will be itchy, swollen, and painful, and sometimes accompanied by bleeding, but not much bleeding, so be careful not to scratch to avoid skin breakdown. Hemorrhoids need to be treated with medication and, if medication is not effective, surgical removal. Acne is a blockage of hair follicles, as well as a bacterial infection that causes a local inflammatory skin bump that is hard to press, mostly on the face and back, so hemorrhoids are not acne.
