Are luteal cysts a sign of conception?

There is no necessary connection between luteal cysts and pregnancy, so the presence of luteal cysts is not a sign of conception.
Generally, women ovulate alternately on both sides of the ovary every month. During ovulation, the follicle is discharged from the surface of the ovary, that is, ovulation, and after ovulation, the corpus luteum is formed from the remaining tissue of the original follicular tissue in the ovary.
The corpus luteum has certain secretory functions, mainly the secretion of estrogen and progesterone. In some women, the corpus luteum may form cystic structures called corpus luteum cysts, so the formation of corpus luteum cysts is related to ovulation.
Conception refers to the process of sperm and egg combining to form a fertilized egg, which is planted in the uterus and develops, and has nothing to do with the presence of corpus luteum cysts.
Consultation with a medical professional is recommended for specific cases.
