Eyelid surgery is a permanent procedure that involves surgically removing loose skin, orbicularis oculi muscle and fat and suturing the skin to the orbicularis oculi muscle or levator aponeurosis under direct vision. The procedure can be performed on single eyelids, incomplete eyelids, those with lax upper eyelid skin, and adolescent women with thick eyelids and bubble eyes, but not everyone is suitable for double eyelid surgery. The people who are not suitable for double eyelid surgery are as follows: 1, pregnant or menstruating and lactating women are prohibited from undergoing double eyelid surgery; 2, people with severe scarring are prohibited from undergoing double eyelid surgery, which makes it difficult to repair the scar after surgery; 3, patients taking aspirin and other anticoagulant drugs one week before surgery should not undergo double eyelid surgery to prevent more than bleeding during surgery; 4, there are infectious diseases or inflammation inside and outside the eyes, which need to be cured before undergoing double eyelid surgery. 5.Patients with blood disorders, infectious diseases, mental illness or psychological instability should be treated with caution; 6.Patients with high expectations, inadequate psychological preparation, unrealistic and excessive demands for surgery are not recommended for surgical treatment; 7.Patients with deformities such as ptosis or lid inversion, wide inner canthus, collapsed nasal bridge or small lid fissure cannot be improved by simple double eyelid surgery 8.Patients suffering from serious heart, liver, kidney, brain and other organ diseases as well as bleeding disorders; 9.Other people: including minors and those with glaucoma.
