Patients with involuntary head shaking are considered to have idiopathic tremor. Idiopathic tremor is also known as benign tremor and can occur at any age. Idiopathic tremor has only one symptom, which is tremor of the hands or head, and there is no dystonia or slow walking. Idiopathic tremor usually occurs when the patient is active, which is also called postural or motor tremor, and the tremor of the head or limbs is more severe during stress or emotional stress. The involuntary shaking of the head does not usually affect the patient’s life, and there is no particularly effective drug for treatment, probably through oral propranolol, this head shaking may be reduced, the cause of idiopathic tremor is not very clear. Involuntary head shaking should also exclude extravertebral reactions caused by drugs such as cipro, or other diseases such as hyperthyroidism and Parkinson’s.
