How often is pediatric insurance done?

Child health care is generally recommended from birth until the age of 18, and its interval can be gradually extended with age. Usually after the infant is full term or around 40 days old, a detailed child health care should be done at a community health center and registered and filed. For infancy, i.e. children within 1 year of age, it is recommended to go in once a month if they are less than 6 months old, and after 6 months, it can be done every 2 months; for early childhood, i.e. 1-3 years old, it is recommended to go in once every 6 months; for preschool and school age, i.e. 3-6 years old, it is recommended to go in once a year; after 6 years old, it can be done once every 3 years. The program mainly includes checking the general growth of the child, vaccination status, etc. In addition, the child’s motor, behavioral, psychological, social, emotional and other assessments can also be performed accordingly. Pediatric care is an important discipline to promote children’s growth and development, maintain their health and guarantee their quality of life. Therefore, parents need to bring their babies to the pediatric health department regularly for pediatric care in order to help children grow up healthily in a timely manner according to the targeted parenting guidance proposed by the doctor.
