Overview Hysterosalpingogram is performed by injecting contrast into the uterine cavity through the cervical canal and observing the cavity under the monitoring and tracking of a C-arm DSA machine to understand the condition of the uterus and the fallopian tube lumen. The imaging not only indicates the patency of the fallopian tubes and the site of obstruction, but also allows observation of the morphology of the uterine cavity. This test is safe, does not require anesthesia, is painless and is acceptable to the patient. This technique is less painful, faster and more accurate. The accuracy rate of hysterosalpingography is as high as 98%.
