How to determine if wisdom teeth are not extracted cleanly

Wisdom teeth are a common oral disease that causes not only pain but also more oral problems, such as dental caries, jaw disorders and cystic lesions around wisdom teeth. Therefore, patients with wisdom teeth should go to a regular hospital for treatment in a timely manner, mainly by removing wisdom teeth. After wisdom tooth extraction, if the wisdom tooth is not extracted cleanly, it can be observed that the root tip of the wisdom tooth is not smooth and fractured; oral x-ray examination can also be performed, and through imaging, the root tip of the root can be seen to remain within the jawbone. Sometimes the roots of wisdom teeth are curved and may cause broken roots during extraction. If the length of broken roots is within 1-2mm, re-extraction can be avoided to avoid more trauma. In addition, the care measures after wisdom tooth extraction are more important. Patients should avoid rinsing their mouths on the day of tooth extraction, do not eat too cold or too hot food, and eat warm and soft food as appropriate; do not suck or lick the extraction sockets with your tongue after wisdom tooth extraction; it is normal to have pink blood in the saliva for 1-2 hours after tooth extraction. In case of severe pain, difficulty in opening the mouth, high fever and other uncomfortable symptoms, you should go to the hospital at any time and seek proper treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
