What to do about kidney nodules

If nodules are found in the kidneys, the cause of the nodules needs to be further clarified, and there are both benign and malignant nodules in the kidneys, so further examination is needed in hospital or outpatient. If the nodule was originally examined by ultrasound, further CT examination or enhanced CT examination is needed to clarify the nature of the nodule, and later treatment will be decided according to the nature of the nodule. If the nodule is benign, depending on the location and size, dynamic observation or surgery is recommended. If it is a malignant nodule, surgery such as partial nephrectomy or radical nephrectomy is required. Sometimes, various clinical tests may not be able to determine the nature of the nodule, and then a puncture biopsy is needed, which can make the final diagnosis after taking biopsies of the nodule and assist in clinical treatment.
