Prevention methods for liver cysts

Liver cysts are a relatively common benign clinical condition. Generally, small liver cysts do not usually cause significant clinical symptoms in patients. However, the gradual increase in size of liver cysts may compress the blood vessels and bile ducts and cause serious complications. So how should we prevent liver cysts in clinical practice? Let’s learn together. According to the causes of liver cysts, clinically they can be divided into congenital liver cysts and acquired liver cysts. Congenital liver cysts are closely related to the patient’s own constitution, and there is no method to completely prevent the occurrence of congenital liver cysts in clinical practice. For patients who have congenital liver cysts, they can avoid progressive increase in the size of liver cysts by taking proper rest, avoiding overexertion, and quitting smoking and limiting alcohol. For acquired liver cysts, there is a close relationship with inflammation, trauma and tumor lesions of the patient’s liver. The following methods can be taken clinically to prevent the occurrence and development of acquired hepatic cysts 1. For patients with combined gallbladder stones with acute cholecystitis and common bile duct stones with acute cholangitis, early surgical treatment is needed to remove the gallbladder and get rid of the stones in the bile duct. Clinically, traditional open surgery or laparoscopic surgery and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography can be used to remove the stones in the bile duct. Avoid the formation of liver cysts induced by repeated infections in the bile duct. 2. Try to take low-fat and easy-to-digest food as the mainstay of daily diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and reduce spicy, stimulating and greasy food. Avoid causing the gastrointestinal tract and liver burden to increase, causing the occurrence of liver cysts. 3, if the liver combined with tumor lesions, need timely surgery to remove tumor lesions, so as to avoid liver tumors induced the formation of liver cysts.
