What is the recurring sore throat?

Recurrent sore throat can be caused by chronic pharyngitis, chronic tonsillitis and long pharyngeal protrusion.
1. Chronic pharyngitis: Bacterial or viral infections and long-term exposure to irritating substances can stimulate chronic inflammation of the throat, resulting in a foreign body sensation and itchy throat and other symptoms, which may lead to recurring pain in the throat and difficulty in swallowing. Patients can use compound borax solution or saline for gargling, oral antibiotics such as penicillin and other treatment, usually drink more water.
2. Chronic tonsillitis: when the body’s immunity is low or infected, it is easy to trigger, mainly manifested in fever and pharyngeal pain and other symptoms.
3. Excessive growth and development of stenosis: Excessive growth and development of stenosis will make the stenosis in the pharynx too long, and usually there will be unilateral obvious symptoms such as tingling in the pharynx, which will affect the daily life. You can have surgery to amputate the pharyngeal protrusion. Daily diet should be light, do not eat spicy stimulating food.
There are other causes of recurrent sore throat, and patients are advised to seek timely medical treatment and standardize treatment. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
