How long it takes to get out of bed with a pubic bone fracture depends on the severity of the fracture and the treatment. If the fracture is a simple pubic fracture without complete displacement and the patient’s pelvic ring is intact, the patient can generally get off the ground in about 8 weeks, and in the early stage it is recommended that the patient move as little as possible and use double crutches if necessary. If there are multiple fractures and the fractures are crushed, such as pubic fracture combined with sciatic branch and sacral fracture, the healing time will be extended accordingly. During the recovery period, the patient needs to be reviewed regularly to clarify the healing of the fracture and to eat nutritious foods such as lean meat, milk, eggs and other protein-rich foods. If necessary, oral medications can be taken as prescribed by the doctor to help promote fracture healing.
