What causes sleepy legs and fatigue

There are many reasons that lead to leg weakness, such as improper exercise, lumbar disc herniation, deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities, cold and flu, and so on.
1. Improper exercise: Exercise before warm-up preparation is not done, or more than their own load of exercise, will lead to local muscle damage or degradation, resulting in symptoms of leg weakness.
2. Lumbar disc herniation: when the nucleus pulposus of the lumbar intervertebral disc protrudes into the annulus fibrosus, it will lead to narrowing of the spinal canal of the lumbar vertebrae, which will reduce the strength of the leg muscles, and thus the patients often feel the soreness and weakness of the lower limbs.
3. Lower extremity deep vein thrombosis: deep vein thrombosis will narrow the lumen of the vein, resulting in ischemia and hypoxia of the lower extremities, so that the muscle and nerves have insufficient blood supply, and can not maintain the normal weight-bearing walk and cause weakness of the legs.
4. Colds: Colds are often caused by viral infections, and viruses attack soft tissues such as muscles and grow and multiply in the tissues, and produce metabolic products that accumulate in the tissues, leading to muscle pain and weakness.
If the body appears leg sleepiness and fatigue need to rule out varicose veins of the lower limbs and arterial embolism and other diseases, it is recommended that the patient go to the orthopedic department of the hospital in a timely manner, in order to clarify the cause of the disease.
