Jade Muscle San is from “Surgical Zheng Zong” Volume 4, which can cure rheumatism, freckles, wine sting, white dandruff wind, itchy skin and other diseases.
The formula consists of mung bean, talc, Angelica dahurica, and white aconite. When used, the above medicines will be grinded together into a fine powder, and when washing the face in the morning and evening, the soup will be adjusted to wash the affected area, which can treat rheumatism and freckles, wine sting (acne, acne vulgaris), leucoderma, and itchy skin.
Mung beans in the formula is cold, can clear heat and detoxification, external use can detoxify swelling; talc is cold, external use can clear heat and collect dampness and astringent sores (to reduce the invasion of dampness, to promote the healing of sores), can cure wet sores.
