What are the fallopian tube examination items

The examination of the fallopian tubes refers to the means of checking whether the tubes are patent, such as tubal lavage, hysterosalpingography, laparoscopy and ultrasonography. This technique is widely used in clinical practice. In addition to checking whether the fallopian tubes are patent, it can also separate mild tubal adhesions, which has certain therapeutic effects, and can clarify the location of obstruction and the presence of uterine malformations, submucosal myomas, endometrium and tubal tuberculosis. The tubal lavage test is a relatively backward test. During the test, sometimes the patient is too nervous, which can lead to short spasms of the fallopian tubes causing false blockage, so this method is basically no longer used. Ultrasonography can find out whether there is fluid or cysts in the fallopian tubes, and can also pass fluid under ultrasound, but the clinical diagnostic value is low and it is rarely used. Laparoscopic examination can directly see whether there are adhesions around the fallopian tubes, and laparoscopic lavage can also be performed to release the adhesions, but because of its high cost, it is a surgical procedure after all, and is not the preferred means of examination. In conclusion, hysterosalpingography is the most commonly used test in clinical practice.
