Can a leukogram and cervical cancer screening go together?

Leukorrhea test and cervical cancer screening can be done together, both need to be sampled during gynecological examination and sent for testing. If both need to be examined, a sample of leukorrhea can be retained first, and then a sample for cervical cancer screening can be taken.
1. Leukorrhea examination: To examine the cleanliness and PH value of vaginal secretions, and to identify Trichomonas vaginalis and mycobacteria, such as mycelium and mycobacteria, so as to know whether there is vaginitis and provide a reliable basis for treatment.
2. Cervical Cancer Screening: Including TCT test and HPV test, TCT test, also known as cervical cytology test, is performed by scraping samples from the transformed area of the cervix, and then undergoes cytology test. HPV test, also known as human papillomavirus (HPV) test, is performed by using a soft brush to take the shed cells from the cervical opening, so as to determine whether one is infected with HPV or not.
Routine leukorrhea tests and HPV tests can be done at the same time, usually avoiding the menstrual period, and prohibiting coitus and vaginal medication for at least 48 hours prior to the test. Regular cervical cancer screening is recommended for women who are sexually active.
