Masturbation, in the past, was called masturbation. Different regions have different slang terms for it, such as: jerking off, stacking tubes, jerking off, jerking off, etc. (Mostly used to describe male masturbation, where the latter two are also commonly used to refer to sexual intercourse.) Because there are many different ways to masturbate, and not necessarily with your hands. Therefore, some people assume that masturbation is not ‘masturbation’ because they don’t use their hands, which is a wrong view. Masturbation is a derogatory term in Chinese, and it is a normal sexual behavior. So the correct, scientific term should be masturbation. Masturbation occurs at different ages in both men and women. Some animals also engage in masturbation. Masturbation is a behavior that exists from childhood, mostly due to unconscious occasional play with genitals, wearing tight pants, climbing poles and other activities, because of friction to stimulate the genitals and cause pleasure, usually without orgasm. Both men and women, after reaching puberty, due to physiological changes in the body, hormones increase, resulting in sexual impulses and sexual desire. They are full of longing, curiosity, and fantasy about sexual matters. Masturbation may be learned on occasional opportunities, or while talking with others. Masturbation is common in ancient and modern times. When you do it to yourself, you are always a virgin. After doing it once with someone else, you are not a virgin or a virgin anymore. People are thirsty, to drink water; people are hungry, to eat. The normal sexual desire is the most basic requirement for human beings to reproduce and is a very normal phenomenon. People from sexual maturity to be able to legally meet the sexual requirements – marriage, generally have to wait 7 to 8 years or more. And during this time the sexual demand is often the highest, always looking for opportunities to release the pent up sexual desire. Therefore, masturbation is the most convenient and safe way in this situation. First of all, masturbation does not transmit any sexually transmitted diseases, nor does it involve other people or get involved in emotional entanglements, nor does it lead to the occurrence of sexual assault or even sexual crimes. So it is a reasonable way to release sexual desire, but also to avoid part of the moral and social problems caused by sexual problems. As early as 1931, a psychologist named Zhou Tuiyang conducted a detailed survey of male students in several universities in Beiping (renamed Beijing after 1949) and found that masturbation was an extremely common sexual activity among young students. 301 out of 353 cases of students had masturbated, accounting for 86%. Mr. Zhou also reasoned that 14% of those who reported never having masturbated were not necessarily reliable in their answers, perhaps afraid to be embarrassed, or afraid of losing face or other reasons, and were afraid or refused to answer that they had masturbated. However, even a figure of 86% indicates that masturbation is the majority of people. A group of domestic data suggests that 86% of people have masturbated, and most of them start at the age of 12-16 years old, with an average age of 14 years old, which coincides with the age of starting to have seminal emission. This is because masturbation is a normal thing like eating. No one ever says how long their eating history is, so there is no such thing as a history of masturbation. Obviously, it is also a misnomer to say anything about catching the bad habit of masturbation. Similar to the prejudice against masturbation in some religions, the prejudice against masturbation in ancient China is still deeply rooted in contemporary China, and many people feel embarrassed, so most are reluctant to openly admit and talk about this sexual behavior.
