Signs of Colon Cancer Recurrence

Before the recurrence of colon cancer, there may be symptoms (signs) such as change in the nature of bowel movement, weight loss and pain. 1. Change of bowel movement: colon cancer may lead to change of bowel movement before recurrence, which may lead to irregular bowel movement, constipation and diarrhea alternately, and sometimes there will be slight blood in the stool. 2. Weight loss: some patients may lose weight before the recurrence of colon cancer, which is mainly due to the decrease of appetite and malnutrition caused by the lesion of colon. 3. Pain: before recurrence, colon cancer patients may suffer from anal pain, sometimes accompanied by anal bleeding and anal itching. After curing colon cancer, patients should follow the doctor’s instruction to have regular rechecks to avoid recurrence of the disease.
