For breast cancer patients, the following conditions affect survival time: 1. Age: Patients younger than 35 years of age are generally considered to have a poor prognosis. These patients tend to have advanced disease and poor histological differentiation. The 10-year survival rate for stage 1, 2 and 3 breast cancer is 85.1%, 75.6% and 48.1% respectively. 3. Lymph node metastasis: The more the number of metastasis, the worse the prognosis. 4. Hormone receptors: Patients with positive ER and PR receptors, i.e. hormone-dependent type, are effective for endocrine therapy and have a better prognosis. 5.HER2 receptor: patients with high HER2 expression have short disease-free survival and are prone to metastasis and recurrence. Also, high HER2 expression makes patients resistant to endocrine therapy, and the efficacy is reduced from 48% to about 20%.
