It is clinically used in treating constipation due to stagnation of damp-heat, epistaxis due to blood-heat, postpartum stasis, bruises, dysentery due to damp-heat, jaundice and redness of urine, etc. It is also used in treating diarrhea, diarrhea, fire, cooling blood and detoxification.
