How to take proper oral care?

1.How to brush correctly? Vertical rotation method: Brush the bristles at an angle of 45 degrees to the tooth surface, place it at the junction of the tooth surface and the gums, and rotate the toothbrush to brush in the direction of the teeth bite. When brushing the occlusal surface, the bristles should be perpendicular to the occlusal surface and pull the toothbrush back and forth. Brush the inner side of the front teeth (palatal and lingual surfaces), align the toothbrush handle with the long axis of the teeth, and then pull the toothbrush in the occlusal direction. Brush the cheek side of the upper teeth Brush the tongue side of the lower teeth Brush the biting side of the lower front teeth “drawing circles” method: For young children who cannot master the above 2 brushing methods correctly, you can use the bristles to draw circles on each tooth surface several times when brushing to clean the teeth. 2.How to use dental floss correctly? A: Wrap the floss around the middle finger of both hands. B: Use your thumb and index finger to guide the floss gently into the space between the teeth. C: Use the floss to make a “circle” movement back and forth between the teeth and gums. D: Floss between two teeth in an up and down motion. 3.How to choose the right toothbrush for you? Among toothbrushes, hard-bristled toothbrushes are better at removing plaque and tartar, but the hard bristles are more abrasive to teeth and gums; while soft-bristled toothbrushes cannot completely remove thick plaque and formed tartar, but they can enter below the gum edge and can enter the tooth surface to remove plaque. People and adults who are suffering from periodontal disease should choose a three-row bristle toothbrush, which has a small head and softer bristles, and does not hurt the gums when used, and is light and flexible. People with neater teeth can choose flat-bristled toothbrush; people with uneven teeth growth should choose concave toothbrush. People whose gums bleed easily should use a toothbrush with softer bristles.
