What to do if your big teeth are loose

Loose large teeth can be treated with dental treatment, or dental fixation. Large teeth, also known as molars, are the main teeth for chewing food. Loose large teeth may be due to bone destruction in the apical region caused by tooth decay, which is commonly known as apical infection in clinical practice. In this case, root canal treatment of the tooth is required. After removing the infected nerve and disinfecting the root canal to control the inflammation in the apical region, the looseness of the tooth will disappear on its own after the bone is restored. Loose teeth can also be caused by gingivitis or periodontitis, where plaque around the tooth causes damage to the alveolar bone. In this case, scaling is required to remove local irritants such as tartar and then rinse and apply medication to improve the looseness. Loose teeth may also be caused by occlusal trauma to the teeth, which requires bonding, removal of traumatic factors, resting of the affected teeth, and loosening of the periodontal membrane after recovery. Loose teeth can also be caused by trauma to the tooth, acute trauma to the tooth caused by external forces, and the tooth becomes loose beyond the normal physiology, in this case the tooth needs to be fixed, such as fiber band elastic fixation. Therefore, a loose tooth can be treated with root canal therapy to control inflammation, or basic periodontal therapy, or fibrous band fixation.
