It is wrong to say that heel pain is a warning against cancer. The causes of heel pain may be plantar fasciitis, heel bone fracture, soft tissue injury of the heel, and so on. 1. Plantar fasciitis: long time walking in high heels or strenuous exercise will lead to overloading of the plantar fascia and aseptic inflammation, causing pain, swelling and other discomforts of the heel. 2. Heel bone fracture: being hit by external force or jumping down suddenly from a high place will lead to heel bone fracture, which will cause hematoma and other inflammatory reactions at the fracture place, and make the heel pain symptoms. 3. Soft tissue injury of the heel: strenuous exercise or sudden sprain of the heel can lead to injury of the heel muscles, ligaments and other soft tissues, resulting in inflammation and causing localized swelling and pain in the heel. If heel pain occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital and undergo a comprehensive examination to determine the cause.
