What is type B gastritis

Type B gastritis, which is commonly referred to as chronic sinusitis, develops in the sinus region and is mainly caused by H. pylori infection. Pernicious anemia does not occur in this type of gastritis because the chances of developing autoimmune related antibodies are low. It is less likely than type A gastritis to develop pernicious anemia. However, the severity, depth and extent of the gastritis, and whether there are other changes, it is recommended that H. pylori and gastroscopy be performed to rule out the presence of erosion, atrophy, chemosis and other related conditions of the gastric mucosa, and sterilization treatment combined with the presence of H. pylori infection, which can lead to some improvement of type B gastritis.
