Having had lung adenocarcinoma surgery for more than 6 months, you can usually swim appropriately.
More than 6 months after surgery for lung adenocarcinoma, if there are no symptoms related to cough, chest pain, shortness of breath and so on at present, aerobic exercise such as swimming can be performed appropriately. However, if you are still undergoing adjuvant treatment (e.g. radiotherapy, chemotherapy, etc.) after surgery, swimming is generally not recommended during this treatment period.
Exercise time and amount of exercise should be reasonably controlled, depending on the physical condition of the individual. At the same time, patients should keep the indoor air fresh and circulating, avoid staying in smoky or polluted environments, and avoid active and passive smoking.
It is recommended that patients consult their doctors during follow-up consultations, and the attending physician will analyze the situation on an individual basis.
