How does Korean double eyelid work? What is the difference between European-style double eyelids?

The Korean 3-point minimally invasive method, or the Korean double eyelid that candidates often hear about. It is a semi-open double eyelid surgery method that involves making 3 small discrete cuts on the eyelid that are only 2-3mm in length. These 3 small discontinuous incisions are used to access the upper eyelid underneath the skin, where the fat can be extracted from the eye bubble and the dermis is sutured in 3 points to fix the double eyelid. It is suitable for people with less lax upper lid skin and not too much upper lid bloating. Korean double eyelid surgery is not only natural and beautiful, but also provides a realistic and permanent eyelid effect, and the wound is small, swelling is fast and recovery is quick. European-style double eyelid refers to the wide and large, thin-skinned double eyelid of Europeans and Americans. It is because of its unique thin upper eyelid skin, wide and clear double eyelids, long and upturned eyelashes, deep sunken eye sockets, and an obvious orbital groove around the eyes, which makes the eyes more three-dimensional and other characteristics, giving the eyes of Europeans and Americans a special kind of beauty. This special shape is determined by many anatomical factors, and simply changing the eyelids of oriental people or just transforming the shape around the orbital area cannot become a true “European eye”. This is mainly because of the differences in eye shape and structure between Eastern and Westerners: Westerners have large eyes, deep eye sockets, high brow bones and nasal bridges, exposed cornea, long and dense eyelashes, and the ratio of the width of the eyelid to the length of the eye is fully in line with the human aesthetic rule, the golden ratio, and most eyelids are parallel in shape. Therefore, the following conditions should be met for European-style double eyelids: (1) the orbital bone is high enough; (2) the eye is sunken in; (3) the eye fissure is long enough; (4) the lid margin is wide enough from the eyebrow; and (5) the eyelid is thin enough. In general, the eye structure of oriental people tends to be flat or prominent, with bloated eyelids, short eyelids, short sparse eyelashes, and more covered corneas; even the majority of good-looking double eyelids are open fan-shaped, and the width of the heavy eyelids is narrower compared to the length of the eyelids; the majority of oriental people with single eyelids have shorter eyes. Therefore, European-style double eyelids are not very suitable for Oriental girls.
