As far as the current clinical data observe, a small number of patients with novel coronavirus may have some sequelae, such as pulmonary fibrosis, pericarditis, abnormal sense of smell, abnormal sense of taste, and so on.
New coronavirus infection often involves the lungs after infection, and after the treatment of severe patients, some of them may leave corresponding sequelae, resulting in pulmonary fibrosis, chest tightness, shortness of breath and so on. After treatment, some patients with severe disease involving the heart may develop sequelae of pericarditis, such as palpitations, chest tightness and other clinical symptoms.
After neocoronavirus infection, a small number of patients may experience loss of smell and abnormal sense of taste, and it is possible that the sense of taste and smell may still not be fully restored after complete recovery from the disease, with a low overall incidence.
The overall incidence is low. New crown is a new infectious disease, and the sequelae are usually symptoms that appear after the disease has recovered for a period of time, so the sequelae of new crown are still under clinical observation.
