The scientific research is inconclusive and so far there is no accurate data in this regard. For patients with skin moles, treatment is usually not needed because skin moles do not cause too much obvious harm to the body, they just do not look too good. If there are changes in the skin nevus, such as accelerated growth of the skin nevus, unclear boundary, darkening, uneven color, rough surface, ulceration or redness on the surface, etc., it indicates that the nevus may have malignant change and needs to be enlarged and removed as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis through pathological diagnosis.
