What are the classifications of neuropathic pain?

  1, local or multiple injuries to the peripheral nervous system such as: entrapment syndrome, phantom limb pain, residual limb pain, post-traumatic neuralgia, postherpetic neuralgia, DPN, ischemic neuropathy, polyarteritis nodosa.  2, systemic peripheral nerve injury such as: DPN, amyloidosis, plasma cell retention, HIV-related neuropathy, hypothyroidism, hereditary sensory neuropathy, FABRY disease, vitamin B deficiency, toxic neuropathy.  3, central nervous system injury such as: spinal cord injury, stroke (thalamus and brainstem), spinal cord stroke, spinal cord cavitation, multiple sclerosis.  4, complex neuropathic diseases CRPS: complex regional pain syndrome type 1 and type 2 (reflex sympathetic dystrophy).
