Is swollen lymphoma AIDS?

Swollen lymph does not necessarily mean AIDS. Swollen lymph can be caused by normal physiological conditions, or by local bacterial or viral infections that cause swollen lymph nodes, or even by metastatic cancer of malignant tumors. The main causes of lymph node enlargement include upper respiratory tract infection, cervical lymphadenitis caused by chest infection, intra-abdominal metastatic lymph nodes in gastrointestinal malignancies, and metastatic lymph nodes in the armpit in breast cancer. AIDS is an autoimmune disease, which is caused by the attack on the immune system after HIV infection, resulting in the patient’s inability to tolerate foreign bacterial and viral infections and reduced immunity, which can manifest as swollen lymph nodes, and usually requires further HIV antibody testing. If the test is positive and the lymph nodes are swollen, then the diagnosis of AIDS is considered or confirmed.
