Is a salty mouth a sign of advanced cancer?

Salty mouth refers to the salty taste of salt in the mouth, and Chinese medicine believes that it is mostly related to kidney diseases and has no direct relationship with advanced cancer.
According to the relationship between the five organs and five flavors, when the patient feels salty taste in the mouth, it is mostly related to the kidneys, weak kidneys, the kidney fluid upward flooding, and thus salty taste in the mouth, which can be seen in the clinical evidence of renal qi deficiency, renal yang deficiency, renal yin deficiency, and some of them belong to the evidence of watery drink overflowing in the heart, and the root of the disease is still due to the insufficiency of renal yang, and it can’t warm up the watery drink (to supplement the body’s Yang qi, and to promote the circulation of the watery liquid), and therefore the watery drink upward flooding in the heart.
The symptom of salty mouth does not directly correspond to the advanced stage of cancer. If there is cancer in the kidney area, it may be manifested as salty mouth, but it may not necessarily appear in other parts of the body.
If patients want to clarify the cause of their illness and disease, they need to go to the hospital for further examination, and should not rely on subtle symptoms to diagnose the disease, so as to avoid adverse consequences.
