The scope of neurosurgery is as follows: first, cranial trauma, including intracranial hematoma caused by various cranial trauma, mainly epidural hematoma, subdural hematoma, cerebral contusion, intracerebral hematoma, as well as repair of cranial defects after cranial trauma, and drilling and drainage of chronic subdural hematoma. Second, cranial tumors, including tumors of the brain and cerebellum, as well as deep brain tumors and resection of intracerebral tumors. Third, cerebrovascular disease, including craniotomy for intracranial aneurysm, minimally invasive interventional embolization of intracranial aneurysm, craniotomy for cerebral arteriovenous malformation, interventional embolization of cerebral arteriovenous malformation, and resection of cavernous hemangioma. Fourth, intracranial inflammation, including inflammatory granuloma resection and brain abscess resection. Fifth, functional neurosurgical diseases, including craniotomy for trigeminal neuralgia, microvascular decompression for cranial nerve disorders such as facial spasm, and deep brain electrical stimulation for patients with Parkinson’s disease.
