The facial and cranial bones are mandible, hyoid bone, plow bone, maxilla, palatine bone, nasal bone, tear bone, inferior turbinate, zygomatic bone.
1. Mandible: it is a pair of facial skull bones with a slightly horseshoe-shaped form and two branches in one.
2. hyoid bone: located in the lower back of the mandible, above the throat, horseshoe-shaped.
3. Plow bone: a rhomboid bone, located in the middle of the nasal cavity, composed of the lower part of the nasal septum after.
4. maxillae: in pairs, forming the central part of the face and almost all of the cranium. It can be divided into 1 body and 4 protuberances (maxillary body, alveolar protuberance, frontal protuberance, zygomatic protuberance and palatal protuberance).
5. Palatine bone: L-shaped, located between the maxillary palatine process and the pterygoid process, divided into two parts: the horizontal plate and the vertical plate, the horizontal plate constitutes the back of the palate, and the vertical plate constitutes the back of the lateral wall of the nasal cavity.
6. Nasal bones: paired, long, narrow and wide bone fragments that form the bony base of the nasal dorsum.
7. Lacrimal bones: square bone fragments, located in the anterior part of the medial wall of the orbit.
8. Inferior turbinate: a thin and curly bone sheet, attached to the maxillary body and the vertical plate of the palatine bone on the nasal surface.
9. Zygomatic bone: a rhombic shaped bony prominence that forms the zygomatic face, located just below the outer part of the orbit.
For patients with facial discomfort or other medical needs, they should go to the relevant departments of regular hospitals to avoid delays and adverse consequences.
