Is sweating good for gout?

Sweating is usually not good for gout.
Gout is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood uric acid accompanied by recurrent episodes of acute arthritis, and elevated blood uric acid is closely related to gout. Under normal circumstances, uric acid is excreted by the kidneys and intestines, and sweat does not excrete uric acid. If gout patients sweat more can lead to blood concentration, blood uric acid levels suddenly rise, but also trigger gout attacks.
Therefore, it is not recommended for gout patients to sweat excessively through strenuous exercise or sweating. However, appropriate exercise is beneficial to non-exacerbation gout patients, who should be hydrated during exercise to prevent gout attacks; and should not consume too much fructose-rich beverages, which can also trigger gout attacks.
Patients with severe sweating or other discomforts should go to the hospital in time.
