Why antipyretic medicine but four times

Commonly used antipyretics such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen require that they should not be used more than four times within 24 hours, and it is usually recommended that they be used at least once every 4-6 hours. This is because if used too often and in too high a dose, it may lead to an increased risk of adverse drug reactions, including causing digestive discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, inflammation of the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, ulcers, and even bleeding from the digestive tract. Most of the antipyretics enter the body and need to be metabolized by the liver. If too large a dose is used, it may cause damage to liver function and lead to abnormally high transaminases, so antipyretics should usually not be used more than four times in one day. If the effect of fever reduction is not good, consider switching to other treatments, including physical cooling methods or treatment for the cause.
