How is pediatric cerebral palsy typed?

  At present, the clinical practice follows the typology proposed by the Committee of Pediatric Rehabilitation of the Chinese Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Committee of Pediatric Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation of the China Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Association in 2006, and the specific typology is as follows.  According to the clinical manifestations, there are 6 types: 1. spastic type; 2. involuntary movement type; 3. tonic type; 4. ataxic type; 5. hypotonic type; 6. mixed type.  There are 5 types of paralysis according to the location of paralysis: 1, monoplegia; 2, diplegia; 3, trigeminal paralysis; 4, hemiplegia; 5, quadriplegia.
