Baby sickness, home control has a measure

If you have accumulated a certain amount of medical knowledge, you can reduce the number of unnecessary trips to the hospital if you know how to prevent and control your baby’s minor illnesses at home. First of all, you have to learn to observe whether your baby is sick can be judged from the following aspects: 1, the baby’s temperature 2, the baby’s appetite 3, the baby’s mood and spirit 4, the baby’s stool and urine are abnormal 5, whether the baby appears cough, vomiting, rash and other symptoms If you find that the baby has a fever, or the baby has a sudden drop in appetite, emotional instability (crying and restlessness) or depression, abnormal bowel movements, vomiting The next step is to determine whether your baby’s illness is mild or severe and whether it is necessary to send him/her to the hospital immediately. Second, how to determine the severity of the baby’s illness, which cases can be handled by themselves, and when it is necessary to go to the hospital? The baby’s mental state and mood is the most accurate indicator to determine the severity of the baby’s condition. At the beginning of the baby’s abnormal symptoms, as long as the baby is in good spirits, appetite and sleep is very good, parents can not worry too much, you can first observe the situation or do some simple treatment, for example, the baby has low fever, you can give the baby more warm water, let the baby rest; if the baby has diarrhea, but not too many times without pus and blood If your baby has diarrhea, but the number of times is not too many and there is no pus or blood, you can first feed your baby diluted milk or easy-to-digest food, and give your baby salt water, etc. (For the home response to common abnormal symptoms in babies, please refer to Part IV of this book). If, after simple treatment and close observation, the baby’s abnormal symptoms are not relieved or even worsened (e.g. fever and coughing with difficulty in breathing, wheezing, severe diarrhea and vomiting without water), then you should not hesitate to contact the pediatrician or take the baby directly to the hospital.
