I am Jin Bo Dian 71 years old, a retired cadre of the Second Thermal Power Construction Company of Henan Province. On February 28, 2012, I came to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zheng University from Vancouver due to ascites, and found Professor Zhang Mengzhen of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after several difficulties, and after careful examination by Professor Zhang, I was considered to have advanced ovarian cancer. At that time, I had severe fluid in my chest and abdomen, and the pain of my illness made me restless and thin. When I first learned of my condition, I was in pain and despair. Professor Zhang patiently guided me and encouraged me, and held my hand every time I visited the hospital, giving me strength and warmth, and I also personally experienced that Professor Zhang had cured many difficult patients. It also made me determined to continue my treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. Although Prof. Zhang suggested me to go to Beijing or Shanghai, I did not hesitate to say: “Our hospital is no worse than Beijing or Shanghai, I will not go anywhere, let alone transfer to another hospital, I trust you and the hospital completely”. I am determined to cooperate with the treatment and adjust my psychological state to the best, even if the treatment is not good, I have no complaints, and I will donate my body to your obstetrics and gynecology department for teaching and research. After two chemotherapy sessions, my ascites was significantly reduced. On April 20, I underwent surgery for ovarian cancer by Prof. Zhang. Whenever I see my family, relatives, friends and patients, I can’t stop crying and talking about Prof. Zhang. Because of the many patients, I often live in the corridor of the ward, and sometimes in the corridor in front of Professor Zhang’s office. I saw Professor Zhang leave early and return late every day, sometimes coming to work at less than 7:00 in the morning, and not eating at 2:00 at noon. I saw it in my eyes, pain in my heart, she is also a female comrade, have a family, have children, but in order to cure the disease and save people, do not hesitate to sacrifice their own rest time, regardless of the body, night and day to devote themselves to the work of saving people, she kind of diligent, dedicated, serious, serious attitude and thunderous, windy style of work, deeply imprinted in my mind, but also won many patients’ trust. I was also very impressed by Dr. Su H Hui, Dr. Wang Xiaohui and Xu Chuncai, who were on the same team as Prof. Zhang. As Prof. Zhang’s assistants, they are very outstanding, diligent and conscientious, where Prof. Zhang is they are there, many specific tasks are done by them, they are seriously responsible for each patient, whenever Prof. Zhang checks the room and asks about the condition, Xu Chuncai can answer the questions and take notes carefully, she often checks the patients in the ward, after the operation she still works, sometimes she works the night shift even after the day shift, whenever she removes the stitches, changes the medicine, punctures and drains for me, I feel special. Whenever she removed my stitches, changed my medication, and drained my blood, I felt especially solid and relieved that such a good young doctor would become a good doctor for the people in the future. Now I have finished 6 times of chemotherapy, and I am in good condition, all indicators are normal, I am in good spirits, and I have gained weight.
