Paediatric fever tui-na technique

  The causes of pediatric fever vary, and because of the different body types and etiologies, the changes in the condition are complex, and pediatric tui-na is generally required to identify and deal with the differences in seasonality, climate and symptoms. However, at home, fever caused by colds and food injuries is also very common, so the following is an introduction to massage techniques for these common pediatric fever cases.  Wind-heat fever: clear Tianheshui 200 times along the medial line of the forearm of the child, pushing from the bottom up; rub Fengchi 100 times (behind the neck, in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid and oblique muscles); rub Quchi 100 times (bend the elbow at a right angle, at the end of the transverse stripe of the elbow bend); rub Dazhi 100 times (between the seventh cervical vertebra and the spinous process of the first thoracic vertebra); rub Xuan 100 times (tip of the ten fingers of the hand, from the nail (the two sides of the spine, pinch up the skin with the pinching method, lifting and pushing forward at the same time); press and knead Laogong 100 times (in the palm of the hand, between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones, at the tip of the middle finger when clenching the fist and flexing the fingers); press and knead Foot Sanli 100 times (located four fingers below the eye of the outer knee, at the edge of the tibia).  Precautions: prepare massage oil, or body powder rubbed on the parts to be massaged; massage techniques gently and softly, avoiding excessive force; the order of the hands first and then the body, first the limbs and then the chest and abdomen, the force from light to heavy; while manipulation, while communicating with the child, such as singing, telling stories.
