What’s wrong with dizziness and hot and cold?

Dizziness and hot and cold flashes are mainly seen in acute infections and somatization disorders, as follows: First, acute infections: patients should be asked if they have high fever, headache, nausea and vomiting. Some patients can show dizziness, chills or hot and cold flashes when they have acute infections. Second, somatization disorder: patients need to be asked whether the symptoms are persistent or intermittent, and whether they are accompanied by heartburn and chest tightness. If menopausal patients have dizziness and hot and cold flashes, we should ask if they have sleep disorders and consider the possibility of somatization disorders, and we can give thyroid function tests and anxiety and depression scale to clarify. Therefore, dizziness and hot and cold are the two most common conditions.
