What medication to take if you have proteinuria

Proteinuria mainly includes physiological proteinuria, which is commonly seen after strenuous exercise and can be recovered after removing the causative factors, and generally does not require special treatment; it also includes pathologic proteinuria, which can be seen in acute glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome and other diseases, and can be treated with medications (such as Moxifloxacin, Furosemide, Methylprednisolone, Cyclophosphamide, etc.). 1. Physiological proteinuria: it is mostly seen in cases of strenuous exercise, cold, fever, prolonged standing, etc. Generally, it does not need special treatment, and can be relieved after removing the causative factors. 2. Pathologic proteinuria: common in acute glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, interstitial nephritis and lupus nephritis and other diseases, usually can take drugs for treatment. If the proteinuria is caused by infection, antibiotics such as moxifloxacin can be used; if the edema is obvious, diuretics such as furosemide can be used appropriately to reduce swelling; glucocorticosteroids such as methylprednisolone and immunosuppressant such as cyclophosphamide can be used for treatment in order to improve the condition. If proteinuria is found, it is recommended that the patient should go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
